While many know us for our overland and off-road vehicle builds, our Commercial Division was created to bring that same level of engineering, customization, and real-world functionality to commercial fleets, emergency response teams, and specialized operations.
Recently, we had the opportunity to work alongside the King County Sheriff Marine Dive & Rescue Unit in Washington State to develop a fleet of purpose-built rescue vehicles tailored specifically to the demands of marine recovery operations.
Training for the vehicle and body recovery exercises took place at the Mercer Island Boat Launch, where these trucks are actively utilized in real-world scenarios requiring capability, organization, and reliability under pressure.
Built Around the Mission
Every detail of these Ford F-350 Super Duty trucks was designed around the needs of the Marine Dive & Rescue team. The goal was simple: create a highly functional platform capable of supporting demanding field operations while maximizing storage, accessibility, safety, and recovery capability.
To accomplish this, each truck received a series of aftermarket and fully custom upgrades engineered specifically for the job at hand.
Key Features of the Build:
- Flatbed conversion for improved durability, utility, and workspace
- Fully customized canopy systems designed around the team’s operational needs
- Dedicated storage solutions for dive tanks, dry suits, recovery equipment, and drone operations
- Auxiliary lighting systems for increased visibility during nighttime and low-visibility recoveries
- Aftermarket front bumpers and integrated winches to assist with vehicle recoveries from the water
- Upgraded suspension systems designed to improve load handling, vehicle stability, durability, and overall performance while carrying specialized rescue equipment in demanding environments
- Purpose-driven layouts focused on rapid deployment and efficient organization in the field
These are not off-the-shelf solutions. Every component was selected and integrated to support the realities of rescue operations where time, reliability, and functionality matter most.
