OFF-ROAD LIGHTING CLASS
Also on Saturday, September 27th from 6:00pm until 7:00pm, we are hosting our FIRST Off-Road Education Class. This September class will focus on Off-Road Lighting and will be taught by Marc Bowers and our own Joe Marshall. Several of our lighting vendors will also be on hand to show you the lighting on their vehicles, do demos and answer any questions. The class is NOT vendor specific -- we won't be pushing any particular brand.
The goal is simply to answer these questions:
What lighting is available out there and what does it do for me? (Halogen, HID, LED)
Given how I use my vehicle, what type of lighting should I be looking for and where do I want to mount it?
Marc comes to the venue with several years experience in the off-road expedition market. He has previously worked at Howling Moon, ARB and currently, MCE Flexible Fenders. Marc is an avid Jeeper and has seen the lighting industry expand over the years from Halogen, to HID, to LED. He has an interesting perspective on the halogen lighting many of you might find interesting.
Joe Marshall, co-owner of Mule Expedition Outfitters, still also works full time as a mechanical and structural engineer. He has re-wired several vehicles over the years to accommodate various applications and has a wide knowledge of various circuitry and relay/fuse/wiring requirements for custom lighting.
The class is free but we do ask you send us a quick note with your name HERE just so we can plan. Q&A will follow the class and a lighting demo will take place in the parking lot beginning around 7:15pm.
