Mule Expedition Outfitters is a growing custom fabrication and installation shop for expedition vehicles. We are driven to provide the highest quality installation and fabrication standards; seek to build lasting relationships with our customers; and do our best to provide a retail and sales experience based on top quality work , integrity and solid communication with our customers.
We are currently seeking a part time (24 - 30 hours per week) installation and shop support technician at our #60 NW Gilman location in Issaquah, WA.
Description:
Under supervision of the shop manager, perform the various job duties of specialty 4x4 and expedition vehicle builds including, but not limited to: install lift kits and suspension components; install aftermarket bumpers and electrical components (including winches and lighting); and install roof racks and rooftop tents/awnings. Provide shop support required to keep a tidy and efficient shop: empty garbage and recycle daily; run errands such as picking up parts and stock orders as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Install after-market products on a variety of vehicles to manufacturer specifications
Lift and move heavy materials and objects
Demonstrate good housekeeping rules and procedures and help with shop upkeep daily
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
Exhibit diplomacy and professionalism with co-workers and customers
Successful Candidate Will:

Work effectively as part of a team filling in where needed to run a smooth shop
Achieve results in a sometimes fast paced environment with multiple job duties
Demonstrate an ability to work with minimal supervision
Be comfortable with aftermarket part installation including running wiring
Communicate with supervisor regarding jobs and installs and sometimes with customers
Be Safety oriented
Have a valid driver's license
Be available Wednesday - Saturday, 9am - 6pm
Education Requirements:
High school graduate
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 1 year in industry or related experience
Knowledge of 4x4 and overland vehicle components and the overland industry not required, but a plus. Successful candidate will be expected to learn and understand the product lines we carry and learn how to install them efficiently to manufacturer's specs.
Pay:
$13.50 - $15.50 per hour based on experience
Regular pay raises based on yearly performance review
